Vincent Altman was a MechWarrior, serving with the Capellan Confederation's Warrior House Dai Da Chi, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Altman had brown hair and green eyes.[1]

History[edit]

Considered by some to be young, reckless and arrogant, Altman was however still at his core an expert MechWarrior. His reputation arose due to a tendency to be excitable and impulsive, often going on the offensive before a true threat materializes, plunging into conflict with an almost reflexive spontaneity. Mixing reprimands with commendations for his initiative, Altman himself credited his sudden outbursts to a certain sixth sense, which at least of 3133 had yet to cause any major misfortunes to befall him.[1]

At that time, Altman served in a Lance, which was under the command of Hoa Phiri.[3] With Warrior House Dai Da Chi, Altman fought against the Republic of the Sphere aligned Northwind Fusiliers on Algol under the command of a Lien-zhang Markosovich, including in the ruins of an old AFFS Munitions Depot near Groffer’s Toll against enemies including Claretha Francis. In this engagement Altman's impulsiveness got the better of him, resulting in him being drawn out of the Capellan battleline in an attempt to chase what appeared to be Highlander flankers, only to create a gap which the Republic forces were able to exploit.[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Altman was known to have piloted a Shen Yi BattleMech, serial number CC0327-04A, nicknamed "Visioneer". A later model 'Mech built within the Capellan Confederation, Altman was fond of using its Stealth Armor to flank enemies.[1][2]
