The Wallacia system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the June Operational Area of the Periphery March within the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System Description

The Wallacia system is located near the Anaheim and Sartu systems.[3]

System History

The Wallacia system was settled during or before the Age of War and by the end of the era was a part of the Taurian Concordat.[4]

Star League Era

In the mid-2760s the Third Dragonlords were making a routine deployment to Warren to garrison the world when when the Leopard-class DropShip transporting Colonel Zibler and the regimental command lance was destroyed during landing operations. The tragic loss of the command lance and regimental Commanding Officer threatened to throw the Third into chaos, but fortunately Colonel Zibler's Executive Officer, Susan Watters, was quick to step in and take charge of the regiment. Under Watters' leadership the remainder of the deployment was completed successfully, and Watters was subsequently promoted and given official command of the Third.[32]

The Jihad

In response to the asteroid bombardment of Taurus and evidence that implicated the Federated Suns, the Taurian Concordat launched a second invasion of the Federated Suns during the Jihad. Warren was a target for the second wave of attacks, and was captured during the third week of July 3074.[23][24] In February 3075 the Federated Suns launched a counter-offensive using a mixture of AFFS and militia forces backed up by the mercenary Hansen's Roughriders. The battle for control of Warren quickly became a stalemate.[24][33] The Federated Suns finally recaptured Warren in early 3076, shortly before the mercenary unit Hansen's Roughriders landed on Warren to resupply in early April 3076 to resupply after their extended raiding campaign across several Taurian worlds.[34][35] The Roughriders retreated from Warren to Keuterville when the Taurian Quixote-class WarShip TCS Vendetta arrived in the Warren system on the 13th of June, but the absence of the Roughriders didn't stop the Taurians from bombarding the spaceports on Warren and the planetary capital.[36][37]
