Warrior House Hiritsu forces are deployed on the Word of Blake-controlled planet Fanardir in the Magistracy of Canopus to find out what is going on there. Following a failed insertion attempt in which his Leopard-class DropShip Midnight's Call was detected on approach and ordered down, Aris Sung finds himself on the run in his Wraith. However, his 'Mech is destroyed by an Atlas. On foot in the wintery city ruins of Jakarta City, he is then confronted by Manei Domini Precentor Delta Setiwah who employs a cloaking device similar to what Aris saw when he rescued Isis Marik back on on Hustaing.
