History
The Thirteenth Principes Guards was founded from personnel recruited from the planets Capolla and Keid after recruiting efforts on both worlds produced a significant response. The Thirteenth saw relatively little combat between the regiment's founding and 3145 but the Thirteenth was considered to be both an adequately performing unit and a unit with a strong sense of loyalty to the Republic of the Sphere. By 3145 the Thirteenth had been assigned to protect the vital defense industries located on the key Republic world of Epsilon Eridani.[1]
