BTSUITE ZMUD SCRIPT
Michael Grenard
with the consent of
Tuncay Goncuoglu
This Zmud script is was written by MM (aka: Michael Masters, Michael Grenard). It is made to be used in conjunction with BTSUITE written by Mav (aka: Alex Golen, Tuncay Goncuoglu). Many thanks go out to Mav for his support of the project. With out his creative genius and HUD this script would be worthless, and without his consent I would not be posting it. Users of Mushclient can find the script for that client at http://btsuite.tripod.com . This script is a port to Zmud of that script.
INSTALL:
This script does not self install and some of the client settings must be changed in order for it to work. I tried to script the changes to be done automatically, but this proved to be either ineffective or too buggy to be practical, so these steps MUST be followed to insure that the script runs correctly. It is assumed that all the files have been unzipped and are accessible. BTSUITE must be installed, and Zmud version 6.10 or higher must be used.
Create a new character, or open an existing character in OFFLINE MODE..
If you are using an existing character save your old script by Menu => Settings-Export. I have found saving as a .ZSC file works out best.
Before importing the script some preferences must be changed. BT muxes use some characters like @ and ! that the client will parse to mean something other that what was intended by the user. If these setting are not changed the Script will not run properly.
Choose Menu => View-Preferences-General
In the File Menu that appears choose EMULATION and disable (uncheck) the MXP/HTML box. When done it should look like this:
Now choose Script Parsing-General Parsing. Disable the Allow[] , Allow<> . and Stip Quotes. And enable a=b syntax and Expand Vars. When done it should look like this.
Now choose Colors-Color Schemes. Choose ANSI
MOST IMPORTANT Choose Special Characters and change the @ to $. Disable ! . and >. This is very important because all the variable in the script are prefixed with $ and the ! . and > are used in the mux for macros and commands. FAIL TO CHANGE THIS AND THE SCRIPT WILL NOT RUN PROPERLY!!!!
Although it is not necessary I have included in the archive the Font VT100. I find this is the very best output font to make the tactical displays very symmetric and easy to see.
Also optional: Choose Windows-Window Options and enable Window tabs in Menu Minu window as well as Windows-Layout-none

I hope you enjoy it as much as I liked writing it. If you see an MM on the field and you use this script, you might consider not beheading me :-)
Any comments, suggestions and bug reports should be sent to MM through +mail on about any Btech Mux, or email grenardm@bigfoot.com
Some Triggers in ZHUD have sounds that will be played. Not having them will not hurt, but if you wish to try them just copy the sounds from the archive into the sounds directory of your character.
