For Rotary ACs, just search on the forums for it - a lot of people have been asking for the rules, myself included. As for the others, I'd help, but I loaned all of my books out to a friend of mine who left for Washington and isn't getting back until Saturday. Sorry, dude.

My thread, by the way...

Sorry, I just needed to stroke my ego there.

I think they lower the chance of an ammo explosion...

Sorry, I don't have my MaxTech with me... They are L3 equipment, so your Night Gyr's don't technically have them without being L3, which then keeps them out of tournaments...

But those aren't as fun because they keep out all of the munchy homegrown stuff...

You can find Laser Heat Sinks in MaxTech, and any of the stuff the other guy mentioned in MaxTech, a Field Manual, or the Tactical Handbook, which is (sadly, ) out of print.

I found my Tactical Handbook...
Here's Hypervelocity Autocannons:
To-Hit roll of 2 means the shell's propellant ignites, destroying the AC's critical slots and causing internal structure damage in the same amount as one shot from the autocannon (i.e., an HV AC/10 explosion causes 10 points of internal structure damage). Roll for critical hits as per standard rules.
The propellant gel in the HV system produces a tremendous amount of smoke, especially in the higher calibers . Any time an HV AC/5 or HV AC/10 is fired, it fills the hex behind the 'Mech with smoke. If the 'Mech's torso is twosted, the smoke fills the hex opposite the firing direction. This smoke has 1 level of elevation and blocks line of sight through the hex for that turn.

Type Heat Damage Minimum Short Medium Long
HV AC/2 1 2 3 10 20 35
HV AC/5 3 5 - 8 16 28
HV AC/10 7 10 - 6 12 20

Type Tons Crits Ammo
HV AC/2 8 4 30
HV AC/5 12 4 15
HV AC/10 14 6 8

There is no HV AC/20 (unless you really want to be a munchkin, and then you have to go build one).

Hope this helps!
