I appreciate some people do not like high tech and maxed out designs. This is intended to be a high powered and cutting edge mech of a very advanced period that mixes technology to fulfill a role, not a munchkin abuse of the game.
The Alacrity is a Clan Ice Hellion project to push the Clan mech concept to its absolute limit, creating an ultra-mobile platform capable of striking deep into enemy territory, sniping and playing hit and run on other mechs that struggle to lock on to its combination of speed and stealth. Using stolen Inner Sphere ideas in combination with the latest Clan technology they've created an extremely light machine capable of astonishing bursts of speed, though it takes a tough pilot to tolerate the rough ride and intense acceleration. Using the Chameleon LPS to blend in with its surroundings and great striking range with the targeting computer-enhanced ER Large Laser the Alacrity becomes a deadly sniper able to escape almost any pursuit.

It probably does work better as a light mech, while keeping most of its potency the C-Bill cost is halved and Dropship transport becomes easier: Drop 1 double heat sink and have 73 points of armour on a 25 ton version of the mech. The other stats remain the same.
