------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== Recognizing that the Rifleman was a good design that could be improved, the designers at Kallon Industries began reviewing the RFL-3N's original design in light of its battlefield performance. Three facts immediately came to light. The Rifleman was prone to overheating, it did not carry enough ammunition, and it was lightly armored in comparison with other 'Mechs of the same tonnage. Kallon designers reworked the blueprints, making a few trade-offs, and created a first-grade 'Mech -- the JagerMech. First-grade on paper, second-grade when scavenged off the battlefield.
==Capabilities:== The greatest weakness of the Jagermech was the mech itself; fit with four light and medium class autocannons it solved the one issue of it's younger brother the Riflemen while still leaving two other glaring issues: the mech lacks the armor and staying power compared to other heavy class mechs. A mechwarrior in the employ of House Davion finally solved the issue after this unit was mauled during the Fourth Succession War. During the refit process as his unit was undergoing repairs, the pilot collected the remains of his fellow pilot's mechs. Replacing the Model C Medium AC/5s and the Model Light D AC/2s paired in each arm are a Magna Mk III Large Lasers borrowed from a Riflemen and a Delta Dart 10 taken from two Griffons in the pursuit lance. With enough weight left over; one ton of LRM ammo was allocated to each side of the torso, the armor was brought up to ten tons of protection and five additional heat sinks to increase the staying power in battle. So far the mechwarrior has been impressed by the improvement of his Jagermech, though his comrades are none to happy having to wait longer to get their own rides back into full condition.

Now it has both in one package!
