I was looking at the SRM Carrior and think, "Hmm, I like the damage; But it's too slow and it's armor was too weak for that speed as well." It could be destroyed before it could contribute anything to the battle because of it short range. I looked at other vehicles such as Plainsman and Pegasus for ideas when I came across the Regulator. It had everything I was looking for, it just need some tweaking. Having half the firepower of the SRM carrier, the speed makes up for it quite well. Using this advantage, it can attack targets from the rear. Vehicles are sure to be quite destroyed or crippled and most mechs will think twice after a volley or two hit them. The most effective means of this strategy is " woflpacks'; a lance of 4 will really hurt an enemy. Using a Narc Beacon equipped unit is even better.

Barrage is a pretty good name for it. Seems a little short on ammo for that many launchers, though. Otherwise, it's nasty. I certainly wouldn't be wanting to march down an alley and have one of these pop up in my six, that's for sure.

SRM Carriers are best used in urban environments, where they can pop out and surprise opponent.
Still, a nasty little vehicle. Reminds me of a Harasser on steroids

The 3055 TRO lists the SRM carrier as having 45 rounds for 9 launchers or 5 salvos each. The Barrage has 30 rounds for 5 launchers or 6 savlos each, so it can stay a bit longer. Its fast speed would allow it to retreat from the battlefield quckly and return with fresh ammo. And in my opinion, the Barrage is better as a harasser, while the SRM carrier is better as an ambusher. Anyway, you can just reduce the armor for one ton of additional ammo or change the -6's to -4s; adding two more -4 and 1 ton of ammo(7 SRM-4s/75 rounds).

What Time is this Vech suppoesed to be in? Streak SRM's if you could work that out would be extreemly effective and would not consume as much ammo. Just a thought though....

Nice hit and run machine.
Suggested changes...would be to go with 4 SRM6s in the turret, 2 tons of ammo and 2 medium lasers in the front. This way you have some staying power and have some back up to the SRMs.

It uses level 2 tech. Btw, I forgot to mention its tonnage. Its 45 tons.
I am impartial to IS Streaks. They have their use, but are heavier and have less range then the Clan's. I only use Streaks if a mech needs to nurse it ammo. If I'm gonna shoot, I might as well fire.
When I have losts of Missles, I like to use Narcs. Dunno why, I just probably like blowing things up real good.
