------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== The destruction of the Fed Com Civil War and the WOB Jihad cost the Inner Sphere trillions of C-Bills in destroyed property.
Randam Mechwerks was one of the first companies to enter the new emerging workmech market, introducing the Lifesaver mech, a sophisticated design for rescue work in collapsed urban areas.
The Lifesaver is designed to reach survivors in the most dangerous circumstances. It mounts jump jets to cross most obstacles and has a heavy duty gyro which dramatically increases its stability. Mounting more than 15 tons of armour it can survive the collapse of a major building or move into dangerous areas.
The Lifesaver comes equipped with some of the most sophisticated sensors available, capable of finding victims trapped under meters of rubble.
The backhoe and rock cutter allow the Lifesaver to dig away rubble quickly. They can fold back to free the hands for more complex tasks. The hands on the Lifesaver are the most sophisticated of any mech today, capable of holding objects the size of a watermelon without crushing them.
A series of lasers are installed which allow the mech to defend itself sould the need ever arise in addition to being able to cut through structures that are too fragile for the rock cutter.
Using Triple Strength myomers, the Lifesafer can move up to 16 tons, providing the equivalent of a heavy lift crane.
==Battle History:== Although expensive, Lifesavers were among the first workmechs deployed in the Inner Sphere, saving thousands of lives and helping with the reconstruction of the Inner Sphere.
But as peace seemed to settle over the Inner Sphere, its high cost and specialisation meant that it was often replaced by cheaper workmechs, only kept for use in case of natural disasters or major accidents.
Being armed the Lifesaver quickly became popular as a combat mech in the first few years after the fall of the Republic of the Sphere.

I'm currently too lazy to walk 30 feet to my bookshelf, so 'splain why with the Bloodhound and the BAP?

To represent a super-duper sensor suite?

"The Lifesaver comes equipped with some of the most sophisticated sensors available, capable of finding victims trapped under meters of rubble."
Since I don't have a wildcard to represent the sensors I used the two probes.

Super-Duper Sensor Suite works for me... The twin probes would work better than say, TAG or C3 would, at least for the duties this mech is designed for, and would probably cost less... -Wolf
