It was meant to be versatile, able to carry the armor to be an effective long-term combatant--and be forgiving on newly promoted officers, the weaponry needed to pour serious hurt on the foe, the range to be able to participate in battle from a distance, and the close-quarters power needed should the enemy manage to close with the unit. Capabilities A 260 Engine was the core of the Trollhammer. Endo-Steel was used in the chassis, and double heat sinks were chosen. Ferro-Fibrous armor was also utilized in construction. The 'Mech was protected by twelve tons of armor. Armament was varied and efficient; a Gauss Rifle mounted in the left arm with two tons of ammo was the Trollhammer's main weapon, while it was supported by a centerline mounted ER Large Laser at somewhat closer ranges. Twin torso-mounted SRM-6's with two tons of ammo allowed the 'Mech to exploit weak points created in enemy armor by the powerful Gauss weapon. Deployment The Trollhammer was often used for lance command, befitting its original purpose. Despite having lighter armor and weapons, some officers preferred it to its competitor, the Orion. It was quite popular for its ability to dish out significant damage at both extreme and point-blank ranges, and its general versatility.

Mmm. Trollhammer. Does it handle cybercombat well? If so, sign me up for a battalion.

I would think if this is a command unit, it might be better to have lrms instead of the srms. It would be a better weapons package with the gauss.
The erll is a nice addition, it still seems a little ammo dependent, which is why I am not overly fond of the orion.
With the time frame, I would expect some sort of superior electronics in it. Maybe c3 (i) or ecm. Ams might be another thing to look into.

It's not actually a 3075'er, I forgot to change the readout for the date. Should say ~2750.
