I am trying to find out which planets (systems) have the most space stations in it for a system or orbiting them for the planet?

Refer Sarna.net Wiki Space Station
On the bottom of the page is a section called Known Stations

Other than this you will have go through each world to determine a list for yourself.

I couldn't even begin to tell you that, but there is a question that goes along with this. Did you want small stations like Habitats or factories along with the major ones?

I don't think there is a definite list anywhere. Authors make up such details as they go along, and most systems are little more than a name.

Kathil would be one to have a lot of stations, as the story of the Liao hit on them suggests that the factories in space were getting power form ground thermal generators and sent via microwave to them. The flight paths were severely restricted because of this. So it very much sounds like more then one or two.
But now that is has been asked, this would be an interesting thing to find out.

Be nice if there was a list...
