Two real quick questions. Before Victor got his Daishi on Outreach, what mech did he pilot? What mech did Galen Cox pilot?
IlKhan Leo Showers..was he a mech warrior or elemental?

Cox piloted a Banshee-S, I believe. I don't know if Victor actually piloted a Victor? But I can't be sure, there.

Victor piloted (I'm not joking) a Victor. He was supposedly quite taken with his namesake mech and piloted the 3050-era model with the GR.

Didn't have the GR. The autocannon is specifically mentioned when he takes down the "Thor".

The "Thor"? In the Blood of Kerensky Trilogy?
The fluff of TR:3050 spends a whole paragraph talking about Victor and his relationship with the Victor, and the priority it got for upgraded tech.

So maybe it began with an AC and was upgraded later.
I do not remember the descriptions in any books nor have them nearby to check.

Yep, the Thor. He takes out it's leg with the AC in the caverns of Thunder Rift on Trellwan. And they say Trekies are bad......

So Victor pilots a Victor(sounds like a sick joke) and Cox pilots a crusader. Ok, thanx for the info.
What about Hohiro? What mech did he pilot? Was Leo Showers, Ilkhan of hte clans, a mechwarrior or an elemental(what that even mentioned in the books?)

Hohiro piloted a Grand Dragon (Dragon upgraded with a PPC in place of the AC). Later, he got a Daishi.
Leo Showers was a MechWarrior. IIRC

Though Victor's love for the Victor is what caused its speedy upgrade, he never took the upgrade into battle. Right up to Outreach, his Victor had a Pontiac 100 Autocannon in its right arm.
Chances are that the upgrade happened AFTER the initial actions of the Clan War. (since TR 3050 was actually published in 3052 IIRC)

Nah...just been a long time since I read the Blood of Kerensky trilogy...and my copies have spent the last 3 Chicago winters in the garage....
I just needed the refreshers so I could begin the first parts of my alternate timeline.
