HOUSTON, TX, - March 16, 2010 - MechCorps' Mobile Armor Division BattleTech Pods will once again be stationed in the George R. Brown Convention Center for the third edition of Houston's premier convention for comics, sci-fi and fantasy, horror, steam punk, new media, movies, film, and gaming of all types. During Comicpalooza we will be cranking out missions twenty-four hours per day for the entire weekend in hopes of finding the best 'Mech Pilots.

Every moment counts as you control a thirty-foot tall, 75-ton walking tank, blasting your way to victory. Go up against 7 live and up to and additional eight AI opponents in team or free-for-all mayhem. BattleTech is not hide and seek, it's seek and destroy.
A short training session from Veteran MechWarrior Pilots will get you ready for battle. Afterwards, you can talk smack while enjoying a mission review video of your battle and comparing your scoresheet to the other pilots in your mission.

This will be the first year of collaboration between MechCorps and Comicpalooza and we are majorly excited to hold the first Comipalooza Gunslinger Competition in Houston on the evening of Saturday, March 27th! Compete against all comers in head-to-head competition to establish the BattleTech Sheriff of Comicalooza. Practice on Friday and Saturday to prepare for the event Saturday evening for prizes and glory.
