Foreword This design is for a Alt BT universe Factions and Timelines have no
relevance to mainline BT. Thank you and feel free to start hurling various
insults, flaws in the design or just ridicule my fluff, Enjoy :).
Built from the same common hull as the Tiger Dragon class MDN, the Terra
Class Missile Carrier is the next step of the Terran League of Worlds efforts
to gain equal capabilities as the ships of the Storm Haven Protectorate, the
TLW's long time nemisis.
While the Terra does not carry the same weapons load out or armor of the her
sister class, this is compensated by her 600 fighters and 10 hard points
enabling her to transport a further 10 dropship/carriers, further more with
recent break throughs in laser technology the TLW has managed to finaly
develop a Laser AMS system similiar in ablility presently in use with the SHP,
the Terra Class is the first TLW ship class to mount the new system.
It is hoped by the TLW High Command that with the Terra and the Tiger Dragon
class of warships coming into service that the long time dominace of the SHP
will become a thing of the past.
