==Overview:==
With the breakthroughs in technology the SHP enjoyed in the 2350's, it was
decided to put these new technologies to the test in the form of the X-1
Class, (later to be come known as the Storm Lord Class the predecessor of the
current Storm Lord Class of Battlecarrier).

From the onset support by the common people of the X-1 was strong for the
proposed construction would open man new factories both space based and ground
side bringing with them a influx of new jobs needed in the fairly young realm,
indeed interest from the ruling family of the SHP was even great, for most of
the funding for the class was provided by the Royal Family itself in order to
jumpstart the needed interest and industry the construction would bring to the
SHP and lessening the need of outside resources.

With all such projects, the X-1 was designed to be the largest and most
powerful ship of its time, armed with a variety of new weapons systems the X-1
would a true terror to any enemy, armed with a combination of NGR's, NAC's,
NPPC's and Naval Missiles; the X-1 could strike at all ranges. In turn the
ship was equipped with a fearsome battery of secondary weapons to deal with
smaller craft such as drop ships and fighters, it was during firing trials
that the sheer rate of fire from the secondary weapons lead one observer to
think that the X-1 had blown up.

Besides impressive firepower the X-1 was equipped with one of the most
comprehensive Internal Structures designed for a ship of its time, this in
turn allowed the ship to mount the newest armor in unprecedented amounts, the
X-1 carried more than double the protection of older SHP warships.

To further enhance the abilities of the X-1 provisions was made to the design
to support the operation of 10 external mounted assault ships, 54 internal
based fighters and 12 multimission small craft, also added was the facilities
for 150 marines in the need for boarding parties or to repel enemy boarding
parties.

Also added to the design was the addition of a LF Core Battery that would
allow the X-1 to travel further with out recharging as often and befiting its
role as the SHP flagship the X-1 was eqquipped wih the first of the SHP HPG's
for longrange communications.

For a carrier, I'd assign more spare parts. As well as some cargo area for additional ammo aside from what is in the bays, in extended campaigns especially the NAC's would easilly run out of ammo. Especially since it ought to be able to at least go a year without supplies (judging from the food/water storage). If working in concert with a supply ship, this is not a huge concern.

This probably mainly comes at the time it's capital/capital, since small-arms ammo is in sufficient supply to last a while.

Gunnery crew is already factored in the boarding table, IIRC as .1 marine. Although one could use house rules on this, specialy trained gunners with an addtional marine training. Would be sort of spec-forces rarity tho. And boarding is.. unlikely with that amount of weaponry capable of gutting an assault troop transport.

Gunners wouldn't be yanked to be marines, the ship has extra crew that are going to be either damage control parts or back up to the marines.

Also on long campaigns most fleets will have tenderships and machine shop type ships that will carry the needed extra parts to help repair vessels and to keep the fleet supply.

Still a decent, round design with no glaring flaws, a bit short on the NAC and white shark ammo. Nice ship of the line, no raider.

Seem to have missed the 40 kton of cargo upon initial inspection.

Ahh, now I get what you mean, actualy I should have edited that I change the Storm Lord Battlecarrier into a regualr Battleship I will post it later tonight or wensday moring.
