==Overview:==
The Tiamat Class of Battleship is to date the largest class of Warship to be
constructed by the Tiamat Stellar Cluster. The lead ship of the group the
Trinity serves as the pesonal flagship of the TSC's ruler, the Lady Andrea
Tiamat-Tempest.
The Tiamat class was designed to be a viable threat to any warship of her
wieght class, armed with a combination of various Capital weapons the Tiamat
can engage a enemy warship from any range.
Secondary weapons consist of a layered defensive fire strategy, while some
redundency is apparent, the combination of ammo and energy based weapons was
considered to be acceptable in flexibility.
For Aerospace operations, the Tiamat is embarked with 108 fighters for both
offensive fighter strikes and Combat Space Patrol. Further more the Tiamat
carrys hard points for 8 dropships, which vary in mission profile, the
Flagship Trinity is known to carry 2 Combined Arms Battalion Dropships, 2 CV
dropships, 2 Assault Dropships and 2 Cargo Dropships at all times.
Furthermore the ship's also embark a compliment of 300 marines, 100 standard
and 200 armored, in the case of the Trinity these marines serve as exclusive
guards of the Lady Tiamat-Tempest, on the other ships they serve as security
and reserve ground troops and boarding partys.
