Not a bad way to spend 6.8 trillion C-bills. The question is brought up, who would buy it? It is a Pirates dream, but no way are they going to get their hands on that kind of scratch. A Periphery state would love it, but could they afford it? The Succesor states all have more survivable designs, if less manuverable. I wouldn't take it anywhere near Clans, as a binary or trianary would have its way with it.

Billion, not trillion.

Easily. Out of pocket change. The Taurians, Canopians, and Hegemony all have tens of billions of taxpayers. This would be cheaper for them than a Nimitz is to the US.

The question is: would anyone sell it to them? The Periphery wouldn't be able to build its own warships.

Sorry, looooong day at work. I just made two diametricaly opposed arguments in the same paragraph on another board. Time for either a Mt. Dew or beer.

I would say maybe Word of Blake or the CapCon or even the Taurians would want something like this. As would the Outworlds Alliance.

As for the Clans, a few of these would be well used in hit and run raids by almost anyone who has issues with the Clans. Thus tying down resources and hurt the Clan or Clans else where.

Now that I see the true price, it seems much more plauseable. A good assault dropship with plenty of cargo space would make an excellent companion.
