Where to find a program, wherein you enter:

1/ direction of hit
2/ which table (normal/punch/kick)
3/ # of hit locations to generate

With as result:

_
/a\
__\_/__
b|c|d|e|f
| | | |
/ \
g h

With a-h the location hit in # of times. This after suffering the effects of an arctic wolf with a load of srm's, and the already existing problem with lbx. This could speed up play significantly.

I have an Excel file like that. Er, I did. It's not on this computer. I posted the file on CBT.com, which is undergoing formatting...send me a PM or email me and I'll try to find it tomorrow.

Ah, yep, found it. Ready to email on request.

if you got problems if people don't like the pseudo randomness of the computer you can get real random values from this link.

I am sure the standard random generator will suffice for this, it's a hitloc program, not a simulation

I've written a program called RUS (Random Unit Selector) that can be used to do what you want. It can be used to randomly determine hit locations, missile hits, select 'Mechs, roll dice, flip coins and most anything else that can be determined randomly, based on a table, etc.

The program is free for anyone to download, and can be found at the Random Unit Selector (RUS) Features Page. Take a look!

Also Crays sheet works swell, higher functionality but maybe too high. Rick's is more basic.

After I use them in combat, 'll tell which one works best.
