Interesting that you chose not to have it carry dropships, or am I missing those? The lack of escape pods is something that the crew would notice, kind of gives them incentive not to lose. Also interesting is the low number of fighters, that is however compensated for nicely by the GRs, Lasers and missiles. The lack of cargo space leads me to belive that you actualy maxed out on weapons, armor and systems. I could be wrong, as I don't have a calculator handy.

Nimble for a craft its size and quite well armored. I would wager that it would stand up admirably to a McKenna or two.

One question for you, how do you determine how many and what size for grav. decks? All I have is the rather anemic first printing of Aerotech 2, are the rules in the revised version, or are there guidelines for them in Battlespace?

The grav decks are normally, and this is how I do things, left up to the designer as to how many and size. Some folks take into account things like crew size and such when picking the size and all. I don't think there are hard and fast rules.

The reason there are no dropships is because this a warship, not assault ship. The escape craft issue can be something I add to the fluff, thought I included a couple...as for the fighters, they are there for "extra" protection and scouting. Not there as an attack force.

No cargo goes with my idea that a fleet will have cargo ships and other tender type/supply vessels around so the amount of extra cargo isn't needed.
