It's too slow to be placed anywhere other than garrisoning an area like a city, but it's much better armored than the original. This one is modeled based upon the Mechwarrior Living Legends Huit Prime.

Best to stick with ONE type of LBX..

Considering the ammo issue of different types need for the two different gun systems since they are not the same caliber many would say yes since that means a reduction of what is being carried by your support units.

Considering this is supposed to replicate the Mechwarrior Living Legends Huit, no.

It would do better with one LBX type since that would allow you either more damage or a better load out of ammo thus easing your supply chain.

And then it wouldn't look anything like the Mechwarrior Living Legends Huit Prime.

No, but it would be a better vehicle and thus more useful.

I got the point Retry, you want to stay true to your idea of the tank, I am pointing out that it would be better off with either all LB5X or all LB2X instead of the mishmass of the two, and it can still do the same role as what you see as the original or classic or legendary version...

I prefer the blend. The LB5 has much more punch while the LB2 has range like none other except IS extended range missiles.

It is a nightmare for the quartermaster to keep it supplied...a partly 2 hexes over the UAC2...not saying much really for it.

It's 3 hexes over the UAC2, and if it would be a nightmare just to keep this thing supplied, then what about any other batallion that utilizes more than one ammo based weaponry?

27 max range for long range for the LB2X
25 max range for long range for the UAC2
Where is the extra hex Retry?

There are a lot of canon units out there that would be complete horrors for the supply chain. Hell the original jager mech is a good example.
this would also apply to missiles for things like the crusader, with both lrms and srms.
But I do agree it might be better having all 1 type of cannon. Or upgrade the 5's to 10's.

Furthermore the Huit likely isn't going anywhere fast anytime soon, and will likely be part of garrison forces, making supply line arguments all but moot.
