This drop shttle was designed to transport a battalion of infantry from orbit to a landing site. It does not have the ability to transport the infantry from another planet or a jump point withont causing disabilatating affects to the troops that will last for days. The bench seats are foldable into the floor so the shuttle can transport 100 tons of cargo instead of the passangers.

Since the shuttle was not intended to go very far it was given very little in the way of tonnage for fuel.

The shuttle is unarmed and has extremly light armor protection as it was never meant to enter in direct combat. It has just enough armor protection to get its self pasted light anti aircraft flak as it quickly drops to the ground or trys to once again regain orbit.

If its needed the shuttle can be used as a base of operation for the infantry battalion wail they are on the planet. This is only done out of great need or there is little chance that the shuttle would come under direct attack as again the shuttle is lightly armored and is unarmed.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.

I was a Major *pain* before
But I got a promotion.
I am now a General *pain*
Yay for promotions!!!
