Designer's Notes:
-- --- This BattleMech is basically an exercise in "what if you built a Hunchback with Thunderbolt's?" Now for the Thunderback, I took the route of using the weight savings from the Thunderbolt 15, which is a nice weapon unto itself and acquits the role of main weapon quite well for a 50-ton medium BattleMech. With the extra weight saved, the Double Heat Stinks were buffed, the laser armament was upgraded to ER versions and up-gunned with an additional Medium Pulse Laser. 3-tons of Thunderbolt-15 ammo in the CASE protected Left Torso give it two more rounds than it's namesake, while Ten and half tons of Standard BattleMech armor give it roughly the same protection as the Hunchback. The Hunchback's very own 200 Nissan Fusion engine give it identical movement profiles to the Thunderback, whereas the Thunderbolt-15 bequeaths it a far greater reach and the ability to in-direct fire at a target. There exists a rare -S variant which uses a Small Cockpit and TAG for spotting, but it is unknown how many of these exist as the variant was sold as a kit rather than a whole mech unto itself.
As always, enjoy!
ULTRAMEGASUPERNINJAEDITOFDOOM: I leave the task of creating a Thunderbolt-20 conversion of the venerable Hunchie to whosever'eth'st'd shall feel inclined to take up the challenge.

I think you are on a Thunderbolt kick at the moment, but honestly if I owned one of these mechs I'd ditch the Thunderbolt 15, its ammunition, and the now unnecessary two extra DHS for a Gauss rifle. That still does a solid 15 point hit, but at longer range, no significant minimum range, no explosive ammunition, only one heat point, and your main attack can't be negated by an AMS. And even the pricey Gauss rifle is less expensive than the Thunderbolt 15, with much less expensive ammunition. Solid design otherwise, standard engine makes it survivable and cheap, good secondary weapon spread.
