3062 is when the rotary 5 came out according to the wiki. But not a huge deal.
Interesting that this does not have a normal turret. I see no weight, but it is still odd. Thought here is if it has to retreat, no rear firing weapons. I know you like using all the heat sinks that come with a fusion engine. Not sure if extra missile launchers instead of the lasers might be a way to go. Or maybe add some extra rotary 5 ammo. The ERSL verse another mg is something that I can't decide if it would be better to use a third mg over the laser. The range of the laser makes it more appealing.

No you are right it's NOT a huge deal since that game doesn't have to be played in a era specific time...
Have you heard of the concept of the STUG vehicle? Do a Google for STUG, you will see the concept.
