The FM8R Fireman can and will slaughter the PBI like no other, while holding a very nasty surprise for any light vehicles the enemy may have up their sleeve.
--- Eight Tons of BAR 10 BattleMech Grade Armor afford the FM8R extreme protection within it's intended role, as well as allowing it to soak ample damage from a Light 'Mech if required. A top speed of 32.4 km/h puts it up there with the RM60 UrbanMech in terms of mobility, however the 80 Rated I.C.E. which powers this BattleMech is far easier to maintain than a Fusion Engine.
--- Ten Single Strength Heat Sinks ensure that the FM8R can fire it's weapons with impunity even under the harshest conditions; however, the Fireman's ICE power plant means that the machine is susceptible to drowning if it should become submersed while also prohibiting it from operating under vacuum conditions.

==Deployment== --- The FM8R Fireman is a 'Mech employed by every Great House for one reason or another, mostly due to it's excellent Anti-Infantry / Anti-Insurgency capabilities as well as it's usefulness in bolstering a garrison. The 'Mech has spread throughout the major Periphery nations, even proliferating as far out as the Deep Periphery, while Mercenary Units have made extensive use of it as well.
