The Stingray is a Light (technically, Ultralight) tank designed to be air-mobile using 30-ton or heavier VTOLs like the Wyvern or the Garrot via lift hoists, to provide mobile supporting fire for light formations like air-mobile infantry.
The XLE is essentially an "elite" variant and costs as much as a standard medium tank. The far more common SFE manages to match the 10-ton-heavier Scorpion tank in durability and firepower, at the cost of a hefty C-Bill hike.

This looks like a lighter version of the Mymadon (spelling), which itself is a downgraded lighter version of the manticore. Though I can definitely see this causing panic among advancing troops. Even when they figure out it is a light ppc and coming from multiple units.
The heavies and assaults would grow to hate these, as they could very well get behind them.
The Targeting computer is a very nice touch.
I would think a standard question for upgrade would be ppc capacitor, but doesn't appear to be much leeway, with the exception of removing the laser and half ton armor. But not worth it.

I did something similar but used a LAC 5. Overall not a bad idea and one that could be seen around different parts of the IS.
