--- While building some new designs I decided to tweak some old ones too. This updated version of the Laodicea Class Battlecruiser has some of the kinks worked out. Namely the range, while I think even this version is still pretty short legged for a warship, it's much better than it's predecessor, with 5,000 Tons of Fuel instead of the old versions 2,400 and a paired back Food and Water supply to help match it's new range. This is due to the 20 Small Crafts and 32 ASFs that I forgot to account for in the fuel requirement. So the Laodicea definitely still needs logistical support, but it''s no longer as lopsided as before and can undertake independent action within a certain scope.
--- The Anti-Fighter and Anti-Missile armaments on this ship are stupidly strong, with several AMS bays and Small Laser Bays backing them up. Large Lasers and Medium Lasersnare supplemented with NL35s and even a pair of NL55s in the Aft facing. A hefty broadside of HNPPCs is complemented by a brace of them in the Nose arc. Overall though, the ship is slow and it's armor is lacking; however the ship DOES feature eight docking collars... so conducting Assaults with a Laodicea Class is definitely an erstwhile use of it's assets.
