Interplanetary travel is possible via DropShip, like the planet hopping to Hesperus II via Hesperus III (coming from a pirate point) in one of the GDL novels.
Interstellar travel, nope. Even with their magically hyper-efficient thrust engines, DropShips carry insufficient fuel to burn across lightyears; and coasting takes too long to be possible (food & consumables).

You could reasonable have a generation ship kind of thing, the Inner Sphere and the Clans have the technology to make them.
