--- Conceived of by the SLDF to fulfill the role of a raider, the Paris Class is a very fast ship with good endurance and a modest, but flexible load out of weaponry. Equipped to carry a companies worth of Infantry, the Paris can carry out independent special forces actions using it's complement Small Craft while three squads of Marines help to protect it from the same. A single docking collar let's it bring along a DropShip to further enhance it's strike capabilities.

--- It's payload is focused on anti-shipping and light skirmishing, with it's complement of nine AeroSpace Fighters intended to serve as forward scouts rather than strike craft. A small amount of dedicated anti-fighter weaponry furnish the craft's broadsides, while a large amount of missile launchers comprises the main armaments. Double Heat SInks and Ferro-Carbide Armor allow it pack adequate protection and remain cool while firing even if some of the heat sinks are knocked out.

--- Plenty of spare parts, coupled with adequate food and fuel stores and a minimal yet functional allocation of Cargo storage give the Paris long legs for such a fast ship. Eighty Life Boats and and an equal amount of Escape Pods ensure that the ship's complement of passengers and crew can get out alive should the worst befall them. Finally, dedicated passenger space, a Lithium Fusion Battery and Detachable Jump Sail make the Paris-Class second to none for surgical strikes deep behind enemy lines.

--- The Paris Class is described as resembling an Achilles DropShip crossed with an Essex Class Cruiser and a Sovetskii Soyuz Class Heavy Cruiser. It's most prominent features are it's single large engine, "underslung" missile bays, and the "chin" which makes up the fore section of the ship. The "spine" narrows in a curvy fashion, becoming narrower towards the fore and widening at the aft. The fore of the ship is also tapered, becoming wider towards the center and narrowing at either end. The bridge is located in the aft portion of the ship, while the ASF, Small Craft, and Infantry Bays are located in the fore.

--- The docking collar is located right under the structure containing the missile bays and is aligned with the "spine" of the ship. The 175 Ton Cargo Bay is located in the fore, and connects to the ASF, Small Craft and Infantry Bays. The 750 Ton Cargo Bay is located aft, nestled between the missile bays and accessed via a door atop the "spine" or from the DropShip collar. The 375 Ton bay is just behind the 750 Ton one, and is only accessible from the outside by going through it, although it remains accessible from the inside as well and features double doors to prevent decompression.

--- Although the ship lacks Grav Decks, a pair of small lifts run along each of the vessel's axis. The first one goes from the fore to the aft, while the other transits from the docking collar to the top of the ship's spine. An emergency hatch is located atop the spine and is accessible from the vertical axis lift, while both lifts also incorporate a maintenance / emergency crawlspace into their design. The vertical lift is very much like a typical elevator, while the horizontal lift is more like a tiny tram or trolley. Both meet in a very tiny "station" that serves as a central junction for moving through the ship.

--- The White Shark bays jut out from either side of the ship pointing fore, while the Barracuda bays line the sides of these protrusions being set back from the Whiteshark bays, recessed into the structure and angling out at a 45 degree angle. The NPPCs are found on either side of the "chin", while the twin NL45s adorn the "cheeks" The twin Large Laser bays are set in porthole-like turrets along the ship's "spine", while the LRM bays are configured as blisters on the "inside" of these "portholes" The LRM / Large Laser arrays are located along the broadsides and are mounted on a flat surface, facing out 90 degrees to the ship and offering 180 degrees of firing arc without moving the ship.

Note: There are no aft weapons on account of the ships massive engine, which effectively comprises the entire aft section of the ship.
