Does AES provide benefit for a weapon that is split between an arm and a torso? I’m thinking of a situation involving a Heavy Gauss Rifle or other enormous weapon that is split between two locations. If I put in the AES in the arm that has a part of the Heavy Gauss would you get the benefit? The rules don’t seem to address that possibility.

I don't know, but I'd guess the answer was no.

I would think weapons that share a torso location couldn't really benefit from AES as the weapon would not be free enough for positioning. The entire torso would have to realign was well, which is against the AES. But then I don't have the newer rules, so this is only a guess at this.
