--- The Funhouse Class has been affectionately (and not so affectionately) referred to as the "Clown Car" due to it's rather... cozy, accommodations. In truth, the reputation is undeserved as the Funhouse Class is actually quite roomy for such a small dropship, indeed the ship is only as big as the Vampire Class Dropship. The vessel is designed to be an inter-system ferry for occupation / peacekeeping / police forces, and it shows. Unarmed, and equipped with minimal fuel and foodstuffs, the Funhouse Class won't go very far on it's own, although eighty tons of Cargo split between two bays goes some way towards alleviating this. A minimal allotment for spare parts helps to ensure that a blown gasket or loose fitting won't send you careening off, or stuck stranded in a leaky bathtub... in space.

--- The class has been used quite often as a minor diplomatic vessel owning to the lack of armaments, with scouts and explorers also favoring the design for short hops between worlds. Small time mercenary units have been known to split the cost of a Funhouse, in essence "renting" one or more of the infantry compartments with House Kurita often using these to keep small amounts of poor mercenaries trapped on retinue. The class has also been a favorite of private security forces, allowing them to shunt between a few planets and / or moons. Most Houses have retained at least a few of these designs due to their low operating costs and equally low maintenance costs. The Funhouse Class is one of the few, possibly only, DropShip designs to see uninterrupted production throughout the Succession Wars on account of it's small size and ease of construction.

--- The Funhouse Class has one 60 Ton Cargo Bay with an access door in the nose. This bay also features a retractable yard arm to allow it to load / unload cargo without a gantry. Below that is another, smaller 20 Ton Cargo Bay that must be accessed from either within the ship itself or from the 60 Ton Cargo Bay above it. These Cargo Bays have a circular access & handling area containing a cargo lift that runs up to the 60 Ton Cargo Bay for loading purposes. Below that bay and just above the drive / what passes for engineering spaces is the bridge. The crew quarters are wrapped around the rest of the ship, with the Infantry Bays below them. It is worth noting that each Infantry Bay has it's own dedicated door, allowing rapid deployment.
