--- If I was going to roll up to a battle and I had my choice of anything, even custom to the nines... this is what I'd use. The Custom Drive is 20% lighter, but 50% more expensive than a standard drive, while the K-F Core is 13.25% lighter, but also 50% more expensive. The Custom Drive gives the ship 5/8 movement with a 4/6 drive, while the Custom K-F Core is just light enough to compensate for the Lithium Fusion Battery.

--- A 125 Ton Super Luxury Suite and 35 Tons worth of Snacks are extremely important features. The two Auxiliary Fuel Pumps are used to not only fuel the fighters from the Liquid Cargo Bays, but also allow them to drain it from the main ship if needs be. They can serve as redundant fuel lines too, of course. The extra Bridge is for handling all the carrier functions under normal conditions, but is also a fully functioning bridge in it's own right. Should one or other become damaged they can fulfill each other's functions interchangeably.

- 128 extra pilots let's it run around the clock sorties. The 50 Aerospace Fighters per bay are divvied up as a 39 unit Wing, a 13 unit Squadron and 2 Flights per, for a total of 100 fighters. The Small Craft bay provide flexibility. A spare Jump Sail is stored for the detachable Jump Sail, with the system being able to mount it if the other one is ditched. It is a slow process though...

- All the guns. ALL OF THEM. RAC/5 batteries, ER Pulse Laser bays, Capital Missiles, Capital PPCs, LRMs out the wazoo... Artemis V makes 'em group tighter AND hit more often. Cheesy Screen Launchers, Laser AMS, because ammo is for chumps. Capital Autocannons for those who think it's a good idea to go nose on to a 2.5 million ton mixed tech monster. ClanTech ER Laser bays because enemy fighters need to die too.

- If the enemy manages to board... a pretty big IF mind you, 120 Marines and an additional 40 POWERED ARMOR Marines are there to makes sure they have a nice time. "Nice Time" I threw in a battery of 10 Light NPPCs and some Streak SRM-6s for funsies, because PPCs are FUN! A Reinforced Battalion of Battlemechs, plus some foot infantry and jump infantry are good for pimp slappin' some out of line backwaters, or just conducting some forward recon.

- This is the standard complement of craft, all custom, some on the boards here already. The Arrow IIC, Arrow IIC-H and Firebird VI aren't, so I'll put their stats in a reply.

- A Clan Star Adder refit for the Arrow IIC-H. They had this heavy laser tech and wanted to make use of it, so they devised this and charged people to refit to it. It hits damn hard and it runs ice cold. I used this for my command fighter in the Arrow IIC squadrons.

I'd like to see the Firebird as later than 3063. Its a long extinct design and about the only way to legitimize it is if someone started remaking the design as retrotech during the Jihad, and this was either a custom upgrade of that model or a later post-Jihad upgrade of the line to bring it up to modern standards. Perhaps could be pitched as a concept craft by Mujika to help reverse their fortunes after the Capellan-St Ives war but it seems different enough to warrant a new name rather than adopt the name of a maligned fighter.

- It's the final variant of a series of five, the Firebird II is a 3025 version, but could also be fluffed as being 2750 era or earlier. The Firebird III is a 3058 design. So in context it's not exactly reviving a long dead design. The 3025 one would be a whopping 625 years old, but the Succession Wars kinda saw everything being blowed up, so reviving an ancient design because it's what you can produce or because your scrambling for some kind of advantage, any advantage, isn't too far fetched. After all, it's already a proven airframe and a proven spaceship insomuch as they know it can fly in both the air and space, so that speeds up development times and cuts costs by a lot.

- After that point, the next variant is only 33 years after, but it's both Post-Helm Memory core AND Post-Clan Invasion so an upgrade is probably in well in order by that point. Since it's 33 years old by then, they'd conceivably want to build a factory-level variant to maximize on the available improvements in tech. The last three variants come around only five years after the -III variant, and during a time of renewed turmoil. They're rather derivative, with one of them being conceived of as an offshoot by a foreign power.

- I envisioned the -IV as a Davion derivative, since stealing the design via espionage isn't out of the question while the then ancient design could have been salvaged more than a few times since, making the concept of them deriving a version plausible. The fact that it only has 3 Tons of fuel like the original Age of War model and that it has less than complete modifications derived from the -II could support either of these possibilities.

- I imagined the -V to be an amalgamation of the -II and -III. The design would be derived from the two, with the intent to make use of the powerplants of the -II that had already been in production for 38 years at that point, combining it with the improved chassis of the -III and then further upgrading the weapon systems from there to make it even better. The -V ends up being the successor to the -III, while the -VI is meant to be the pinnacle of the line, but it's so expensive that you wouldn't want to produce a lot of them, hence I envisioned it as an "Elite" version, for Ace pilots or VIP units and whatnot.

Ok - if the backstory is that it never really went extinct but transformed into a Lv1 design during Star League and carried on through the Succession Wars I can roll with that. I guess I should have realized that with a "VI" suffix.
