Just checked a Mechwarrior RPG that was necro'd from two years ago by a user who just copypasted a section from a reply six years ago. It wasn't quoted and there was nothing added to it, just copied directly, word for word even.
Might just be laziness, but potential bot-ery may be afoot.

Agreed. Andreamark543 revived an 8 year old thread @ https://www.sarna.net/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/163209/an/0/page/0#163209
2 minutes after registering, and with obvious unrelated coupon site plug as homepage url.
Don't think bots could ever be totally beaten, but if they're posting in very old threads just a few minutes after registering then maybe the post should be quarantined until reviewed by admins. Or just not let anybody post on old threads within an hour of registration (or longer.) If someone's got something worthwhile to say about an old thread, they'll wait.

I believe user haleigh might be a bot as well, all of their 5 posts are copypastes comprised of elements found within the thread that they are posting in. Using CTRL+F and pasting them sentence by sentence shows that all of the text is found in someone else's replies... verbatim. No editing.
