Built as a way to enter the heavy mech market, KDM, billed the Doberman DBN-3N as the consumer's answer to the Warhammer. This PR effort paid off on some of the worlds that needed mechs but couldn't always get the best of the best. Sales were decent until 3032 when the DBN-6N entered the market, this variant was an attempt to use the new Memory Core upgrades and ended up causing what was a solid brand to lose footing to other companies' and their wares. The main issue with the variant was it tried to outdo the Warhammer and the Rifleman and failed at both.

Very much a Rifleman -3N/-4D crossover. I made almost the exact same mech in 2000 but took one less ton of armor for one more heat sink (on the basis that fire support mechs neat heat control more than armor and when upgraded to L2 tech the ER PPCs and double heat sinks would exactly produce 38 heat capacity.) We're probably not the first to follow this 60-ton 4/6 dual PPC format. Riflemen, Warhammers, Marauders, and to a similar degree Jagermechs have all followed this template.
I like it though. The FedSun's RFL-4D runs way too hot while the FWLM doesn't have enough PPCs in their middleweight designs outside of the Griffin GRF-1N. Built on Gibson it should have found a niche.
However, I question the Garrett electronics, particularly the T11-b. This is made by Kallon, which means they'd be supplying parts to a direct competitor of their Rifleman. (Unless KDM is a subsidiary, in which case, why wouldn't it be built as a Rifleman variant instead?) I think different parts or an explanation for how they are sourced from Kallon is needed. I had the same problem with my fan factory based out of Farwell in FedSuns space - trying not to step on the toes of Kallon or GM.

Garrett electronics can be swapped out, and I will make the adjustment. Most of my industrial companies are based all over the Inner Sphere, only a few are solely house specific.

Other than being a bit light on secondary weaponry, that is largely an improvement on the Warhammer. I like it.
