--- So upon seeing happyguy49 posting his Little Buddy hovercraft, I was inspired to share my own designs. 100 Ton Firefighting Assault 'Mechs. The Little Buddy is for smoke, incendiary and coolant. These designs are for coolant, incendiary and heavy lifting. The Fire Assault is for fire fighting, the Inferno Assault is a re-fit of the Fire Assault for incendiary work, while the Tsunami is a Dark Age Fusion Engine redesign. The Tsunami also differs in that it uses Compact Heat SInks, Armored Cockpit and Armored Life Support.

These could definitely use some fluff, I feel. A little hard to actually visualize them without it.

Yeah, more fluff needed. And I'm disappointed the Inferno doesn't have at least one SRM to mount inferno missiles. Maybe you need to fire shot across a river or something to light up the trees (or houses) on the opposite bank. All vehicle flamers just seems a bit boring and narrow. I'm not sure an ejection seat is terribly needed in such a design either though I suppose it could come in handy if it were used in arena settings like the Reaches of Solaris 7.

Not sure about the Inferno, but a firefighting mech could probably use an ejector seat if the fires get bad enough.

I'd rather run in the mech than eject and run on foot. The mech is faster and likely safer, being somewhat higher than the burning land around it.

- These were envisioned for use in large cities, to help fight fires in skycrapers. The ejection seats are in case the 'Mech gets buried in a collapsed building, likewise the lift hoists are for moving large chunks of burning building.
