The Tailong is the Capellen Confederation's newest mech design designed to
combat against the threat of infantry and tanks.

==Capabilities:==
The Tailong is powered by a 250 XL engine, giving it compared speeds of its
weight class and jump jets for maneuverability is difficult terrain. 11.5 tons
of standard armor protect an endo-steel structure.

The Tailong was designed to combat primarily infantry, battle armor, and
armored vehicles. It's main weapon is a plasma rifle, deadly against most
targets, and an effective incendiary weapon, a standard flamer is back up
plasma rifle should it run out of ammunition. An MRM-7, usually supplied by 2
tons of ammo tailored to mission, provide flexibility. A pair of medium X-pulse
lasers give accurate fire against more nimble targets. Finally, a pair of
heavy machines are mounted to provide a "deliquite touch" for situations where
the other weapons might cause too much destruction.

This initially started out as a slightly heavier design with MASC, a snub ppc, and stealth armor - the concept was a stealthy, mobile mech for urban combat. After coming up with a single custom variant that the mechwarrior (probably a bandit or shady merc) used for raiding, I decided to ditch the original concept for a medium mech for use as anti-infantry/vehicle and incendiary work.
