------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== Farben-DuPont seeing the need to keep both their company alive and to keep the Word of Blake out of their affairs as much as they could, many companies in the Terran system as elsewhere found out that the WoB had infiltrated their ranks and in some cases took full control of companies, knowing this to be the case the CEO and the CFO, came up with a brilliant but dangerous idea.
Sell to both sides. Thus was born the JGB-8T Jagaubis, using an ancient bastardized name for Vulcanus, the company went with sheer raw firepower as the selling point.
Mounting 4 Mydron Excel 5SG LB 5-X ACs paired with 4 Martel 5X ER Medium Lasers all one a fasting moving Blackstone MD2E Endo Steel chassis, the JGB-8T clocks in an impressive 43.2 km/h and max speed of 64.8 km/h. All of this is tied to a C3 network via the KDM Series C3 Slave unit working with the KDM HardLcok FCTS.
With the idea that they had to survive the fighting, Farben-DuPont set up four factories, three in are in the Terran system, and the last one was in the Lipton system which fell to Coalition forces in November of 3077. The Farben-DuPont plant was captured and while damaged, oddly enough it was able to be brought back online quickly and "captured" JGB-8Ts were soon rolling off the lines and into the hands of Coalition units that needed replacement mechs.

Had the chance back in 2018 to run two of these in a fight, worked very well as keeping some of the medium mechs at arms reach, and even managed to drop a Quickdraw with a nice three LBX5's hitting with full spreads and capitalizing on the damage for other hits sent the Quickdraw to a supernova finish.

Almost feels like it should be an anti air mech with the LBX cannons. I see it would concern a few people, as a 4/6 80 ton mech is odd. If you play it right before anyone knows, you get within range and run right up on them. Of course the cannons are in minimum range, but the sheer shock might well cause them to turn and run.
The fluff is interesting. Don't know enough of the time period, as I don't see most mech producers having to worry much about selling to all sides, as long as the side with the factory gets first chance at new mechs. I wouldn't be surprised if WOB didn't allow that, but nothing on it is WOB material, so it doesn't seem like an issue.
