Years ago, while trying to troubleshoot the problem to get HMP to run on Windows, I thought I saw something on the Heavymetalpro website about having some kind of receipt or transcript to recover a lost copy HMP - quickly scanning their website, I don't see it any more.
I'm thinking you had a digital download of the program. Try emailing their support, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a way of helping.
