The realm is only as good or bad as that of the leader on the throne

What is their Primary Aim: - to become first Lord or to improve their realm?

How is this achievable:- military strength or technological strength?

Scientists should be treated as objects of vastly importance to each state – they should have the facilities and the budgets to improve their state – as those that have a technological advantage will pull ahead of their competitors …. So where is this happening?

And how is the road to first lord achievable: - only through the mass technological development of suitable worlds – that is improving their base tech – ie increasing the number of worlds that can manufacture Dropships, Jumpships, Warships, BattleMechs and Aerospace fighters

What is so ludicrous is that the majority of Leaders within the Battletech universe cannot even begin to understand this most basic of all concepts …

The majority seem to be just going with the flow (leaving their militaries development to that of the CEO’s of each military industry – and no though whatsoever to government) and with absolutely no though to improving the welfare of their state

Each House within the Battletech realm is so incredibly mismanaged it is a wonder that there were not more coups against these incredibly inept leaders ….
Get thee to Coventry … Now is the winter of our discontent, made glorious by this daughter of Tharkad … Our army shall march through. Well to New Avalon tonight.

The game now shifts from that of war – to that of industrial development / war

Every world that has Age of war technology or better CAN create Jump-ships so the idea that there is a minimum of Jumpshps / warships now becomes a laughable concept

Also with developing individual worlds technology to that of Star League you can now create Massive number of BattleMechs and Aerospace fighters etc

Thus over a short period of time, together with the development of worlds individual reals should be able to outproduce war materials that of their neighbours …

Being preoccupied with trivial matters within each realm is no excuse ….

In the race to becoming first lord the realm that can out produce and equip their army first with more ships, Mechs and fighters wins

So where is this aspect of the game within the reality of this game?

There is now a Paradigm shift within the game … and as a consequence I believe we need a complete re-write of the game’s history to take into account the basic logic shift in the game due to each world being an independent self-contained worlds each developing their own independent technology ….
