Overview:

Constructed in 3088 to be the alpha and omega long range firepower, the Halo is a long range support mech capable of brining the hammer down on anything that gets in its considerable range. Armed with a pair of ER PPC's and 3 Ultra AC/10s, the Halo cannot fire all its weapons at once, however its considerable spread of hard hitting direct firepower allows it options in how it brings the pain, meaning a skilled pilot can cycle through weapons to manage both heat and the mechs somewhat limited ammunition.

To offset the mechs high heat curve, it comes installed with 4 coolant pods, which when activated allows the Halo to fire all its guns near to heat neutrality, allowing for a dizzying spread of firepower which can blast through any heavy to lower end assault model in ten to twenty seconds. Still a Halo suffers from low armour for a assault model, forcing it to stay at either range or operate as a lance to properly allow it to move slowly into position.
