A far more practical and affordable version of the wildly-experimental original Oddballs. It only has half as many M-Pods, still enough for an instant kill most of the time. A mixed-tech beast, it rocks a Clan engine, freezers, and bones, but Spheroid armor, cockpit, and gyro. Same speed, discards the ludicrously expensive XXL engine for a regular Clan XL.

The M-Pods are in an AES arm, I think that is better cause it gives each pod an additional -1 to hit.. that is, on balance, likely more lethal than one additional pod.

Critically, removing the other M-Pod arm lets it rock two Clan ER large lasers. This makes Oddballs a practical battlefield machine, sniping at extreme range using a light mechs speed-armor until it has an opportunity to dash in and BOOM an assault to death with its Balls Arm. Runs just a bit hot, volley fire at a "2-2-1" is recommended.

A fully articulated right arm lets it manipulate its own balls for reloading between missions.

It's not quite armored to max, even using the highest points-per-ton armor there is (Spheroid heavy FF). I also wish I could include like a C3 slave or an ECM, but 35 tons only allows so much.

I would suggest going with only 1 erll, and using ermls or pmls. The ECM makes this a great fit for dash and run operations.
The longer range is an idea. Fire support for units, keeping it out of 'danger' until someone thinks to take it out.

A niche unit for sure, but has potential.
