So, I was trying to recreate Alex Keller's Custom Gladiator on Mech Factory (Simple Unit Catalogue and construction software) and noticed that after applying the entry's description of its loadout, there are about 2 tons left afterwards. I don't suppose anyone with a Copy of Shrapnel #15 could double check and possibly amend that entry?

Shrapnel #15 doesn't mention nor detail Alex Keller's custom variant. Alex Keller is only mentioned there in the context of a Notable Pilot (one Lionnne Keller) dubiously claiming to be his descendant.
In the Sarna article, the cited source(s) given for Alex Keller's custom Gladiator are Record Sheets: 3075 Unabridged, p. 203, and Record Sheets: 3075 Unabridged - Age of War, p. 100. So there should be two complete official record sheets for this machine.

Okay, checked RS3075 Unabridged (from 2009) and RS Unabridged - Age of War (from 2013). The 2009 RS is named "Gladiator Keller" (BV=1,348), the 2013 RS calls it "Gladiator GLD-1R Keller" (BV=1,557).
What the Sarna article curently doesn't mention is the fact that it has an XL Gyro. And there is a 9 point difference in armor between the versions: The 2013 version has max armor, with the side torsos 20/6 and CT 27/9. And yes, that's 185 points and means half a ton was spent on the final armor point. Compared to that, the earlier 2009 version had 1 point less on each arm and CT rear, and 3 points less on each leg.
Normally, later publications supersede earlier conflicting information in canon so it is reasonable to assume the 2013 version is correct. The 2009 version is a full ton lighter (9 armor points), but has no other differences I could spot.
