I only play alpha strike and have been running my forces as Clan Giant Scorpion. Recently I got the two boxes of urbanmechs and the box of tanks and wondering if there is a cannon force that made extensive use of these units, and what other mechs could be added to make an alpha strike force for them. I do have models for other non-mech units but don't have ready access to a printer to get the cards from the website. What little research I have done has lead me to the Capellan Defence Force, are there others?

Not that I know of. Since the CC is the main producer of the Urbanmech, and they don't have the best access to sales from most nations, it is understandable they are the main users before the SL core was released.
It is possible that a few defense forces use the Urban mechs, as they tend to use what ever if available. A world that has constant raids by the CC would be one that might have more then a lance or two of them.
Hopefully someone with more information on unit composition will chime in.

Urbanmechs are found all over the Inner Sphere, no one canon force is made up solely of just Ubranmechs. When used, they are either defensive units for cities and factory complexes or ambush units by raiders.
Laio (aka CC) will have a larger number of them since they make most of them, but running into them in the Periphery isn't going to be uncommon.

Non canon, I can see some factories using nothing but Urbies for security purposes. They are suppsed to be short, so wouldn't really need the extra tall roofs, and some of the versions would be great in confined areas. The lack of arms would be bad for melee combat, their slow speed would be an issue if they have to go from one end of the factory to the other.
With the inclusion of power armor, the urbie loses some value. But I can see some modifications that would make them ok again.
I dislike the urbanmech myself. But then I don't normally fight inside buildings and such. A few city assaults have happened, but other mechs have proven to be worth it. Even some vehicles work better. I see potential in it, but not in the battles I have been in. Too much needing to move to different cover, and the urbie is just not fast enough. The annihilator has the armor to survive a lot of hits and has 4 ac 10's stock.
But other then certain defense areas, I don't think many units would have more tha n 2 in a company, if they can avoid it.
