I think this has been gone over before...

What do you folks think about an aerial minelaying system similar to the current Gator system that has been under going testing and such by the USAF? I believe the Britsh have similar system that they use on the Tornados, but I can't recall the name right now.

Would this be to much for the Aerospace units or would it fit in without upsetting the so called balance of the mechs being the king of the game?

Could you, perhaps, enlighten us as to the capabilities of this system?

Perhaps go so far as to make rules for it so we can evaluate it?

It is a mine laying system carried by aircraft...saw operational use breifly in Operation Desert Storm.

Best I can do is find a link on the web and you can comment from there...

Or...say a 5 ton mine depsener that lays mines as the fighter makes a NAP pass over the boards. Covers a six hex circle pattern. Or something like that.
