As I was looking over older BT related Magazine yesterday evening I ran across an article in FAR&AWAY magazine for Renegade Legion and civilan ships...frieghters, Tugs, cargo haulers, passenger liners, privateers etc...and thought COOL! This can be used in BT as well...you know for those smaller companies that can't afford the super Dropships...

I like this! There should be more of these, civilian ships are an important part of my universe.

Sadly, this thing could never take off, let alone reach orbit. You need at least 3 thrust (1.5G) to do that. (And yes, that does make for really weird rules).

Plus, it's a good idea to have a sustainable 1G for thrust, just for the crew's sake.

Otherwise, it's a great way to haul around a thousand tons of cargo!

And regarding privateers and merchant-cruisers (merchies with a Letter of Marque, say): we already have them, and they're called Star League WarShips.

I don't class warships of a house navy as merchant crusiers..they are two different things....I will post more as I get them done.

And the speed issue I forgot about....but that can be fixed.

Yeah, most merchant cruisers are better armed and armored.

last time I checked, drop ships didn't carry grave decks. unless you made this to different rules then I read
Popular Bumper Stickers
“Keep honking: I’m re-loading”
“If you don’t mind, please eject now: that Mech is a **** to salvage"
“I ran out of room to stencil all the Mechs I’ve killed, so now I just go by regiment’s wiped out.”

Using AT2 rules I saw nothing about it saying a dropship CAN'T carry a grav deck. So I gave it one.
