Excellent armor...and, way to capitalize on Damage Thresholds!

Because you're so far under FCS limits, though, there's absolutely no reason to use the L/R BS arcs; they have the least field of fire and are the most awkward to get to bear. If you split up the LBS/RBS weapons between the L/R F/A sides, they'll still both be able to fire into the broadside arcs, but now half can also fire fore or aft.

Any particular reason for having 10 SPLs in the aft arc? I could see having a set of normal SLs in each arc for point defense, but I simply don't see the logic for clustering SPLs (at 2x the tonnage and little improvement, and not spread around as PDW) aft.

Other than that, your armament looks quite respectable, as does the rest of the ship.

Back in the days Battlespace on of the players would always find away to get his fighters into the rear of a ship and rip it to shreads...so after being beaten a couple of times I started to put a lot point defense on the rear of a ship to keep fighters and other things at least away or have a cost for their attacks.

But SPLs will only fire into the adjacent hex and no farther. So about all they're good for is point defense fire against missiles, and *perhaps* shooting Alamo-carriers, if you play with that rule.

I see your point...I think I can cut the number down some and maybe go with mediums or something like that...
