Overview: The HGB-6X Hobgoblin is something of an oddity. Designed as a firing platform for some of the biggest weapons available to Mechs, it has found a VERY narrow niche as a defensive unit, though many detractors complain about its total reliance on ammunition-based weapons -- a complaint that practically buried the first run of the Hollander.
The Hobgoblin's bulky frame is driven by a Magna 350 XL engine, the better to drive its seventy tons at speeds up to 86 kph. Ten double heat sinks are more than adequate to address the thermal needs of the chassis.
All of the Hobgoblin's weapons are mounted in rotating arm mounts, giving it the appearance of an oversized Blackjack. The left arm mounts a massive Gauss rifle, while the right arm is taken up with a Hellborer 120mm extra-heavy autocannon. Each weapon is fed from two tons of ammunition, with CASE protecting the right torso in the event of an explosion in the autocannon magazine. With no energy weapons to fall back on, pilots of the Hobgoblin learn to make every shot count. With two massive weapons at their disposal, though, any shot that connects will most certainly hurt.
One curiousity of the HBG-6X is the cockpit and the way it mates to the shoulders and torso. A secondary cooling vent below the cockpit gives the Hobgoblin the appearance of a grin, though unlike the death's head smiles found on the Atlas and Akuma. This grin is more mocking and somewhat insulting. As one pilot wryly put it, "The Hobgoblin's smile practically demands you wipe it off with a PPC."
Deployment: Due to their reliance on munitions, most Hobgoblins are placed in garrison and defensive roles where they can be easily restocked as needed.

Notes:
Just a goofy little Mech I cooked up to see if I could mount two BIG guns on a heavy chassis
