Overview:
NPLN-10HT Napolean Heavy Tank was designed at the same time as the Rommel and Patton Tanks by Defiance Industries. The project didn't get off the boards, as the funding for the development of the three tanks was running low and the Lyran Military wanted a working vehicle as soon as possible. The Napolean was reviewed later after the marriage of Hanse Davion to Melissa Stiener and the Federated Commonwealth was looking for a new armored vehicle to fill its ranks. Capabilities:
The Napolean has the same familar low silhouete of the Rommel and Patton tanks. What makes the Napolean different is the use of wheeles instead of tracks, in the assumption it is easier to repair a single wheel destroyed in the field. The Napolean also uses a smaller fusion engine and cannont reach the same speeds as the Rommel and Patton.
The one weakness of the other tanks was the dependence of ammunition for the autocannons. The Napolean followed a completly different line of design and mounts two Magna Hellstar PPCs in the turrent. These two energy weapons are very compact and fit quite well in the small, low turrent of the Napolean. Twenty heat sinks keep the driving compartment quite well for the 5 crewmen despite the tremoundous heat that can build up. Two Shrike SRM-4, one in the turrent and another in the front, are used for short range defense or the final shot to finish approaching mechs. Three machine guns, one in the front/turrent/rear, keep any approaching intrantry from getting to close and trying to plant satchel charges on the drive transmissions. Twelve tons of DuraShield armor surround the chassis of the Napolean, providing protection from even the heaviest of weapons.
Deployment: Currently, only a company has been produced and is in the service of the Federated Commonwealth military along the Draconis Combine border at this moment Type: NPLN-10HT Napolean Heavy Tank Tonnage: 65 Movement Type: Wheeled Engine: Fusion 10.5 Speed: Cruising: 3 Flank: 5 Control Equipment: 3.5 Lift Equipment: 0.0 Power Amplifiers: 0.0 Heatsinks: 20 10.0 Internal Structure: 6.5 Turret: 2.0

Are you sure that engine weight is correct? I seem to remember that fusion vehicle engines weighed half again as much or 1.5 times their weight, due to the need for extra nuclear shielding. This still makes them lighter than ICE engines, which are 2 times normal weight, but it obviously would make a big difference to this design here.

Yes, a 175 normally masses 7 tons.

Oh, duh! It's a wheeled tank, suspension factor of 20. I just looked at the tonnage and the speed and thought 195 rated engine. Ok, thank you for the correction.

doh, noticed I a typoed the number of machine guns. Also ran the weight again and it doesn't add up. With the Vehicle Factory the weight is 65 but when I calculate all the weight by hand it weighs 65.5. Hmmm...and when did I rate four stars, I should have at least 5

Vehicles don't have to follow the 5 ton incerments as mechs do...they can be odd tonnages and still be level 2 or level 1 legal.
See the Warrior VTOL for this...it's 21 tons.

Also--and sorry to be nitpicking--but are you sure that BV is correct? Maybe it's CV instead?

your right its combat value. I didn't notice it and never payed attention to the difference of BV or CV anyway
