I'm looking into building a map-scale Union dropship, and maybe an Overlord for my Skye Jaegers. I was curious about how many hexes each would cover. Thanks!

If you have access to Dropships and Jumpships, there is a picture in the back that shows how wide they are. Just off the top of my head it is:
Union: 3 hexes across
Overlord is 5 across
Of course that is in scale to the hex and not to mech minis.
Does not play well with others.

I am in the process of building map scale DS's also, but mine are in Battleforce2 scale. So the Union is 1 hex across
