I whipped this up just because this forum has been filled with a plethora of boring, repetitive level 1 IS designs. So in an effort to do something different and abuse some of the strengths that can come from both level 3 and clan tech, I present to you a mech that has probably been designed by someone else already, the Angry Badger.
It has a smashing 1656 BV and cost a tidy $10,545,280CB
I would like to thank the fine faculty at 'Mechs Are Us Technical College and Vocational Center and dedicate this fine fighting machine to the great Clan Fire Mandrill.

With a RAC/10, the Angry Badger wouldn't overheat so badly at 6x speed.

Wow Cray, I had the "Gotta have a big gun" fixation and didn't even give the 10 a thought. Lets see...I can now get in an extra ER Medium and an obscene amount of ammunition with no heat problems. LOL
Dude that is why you ARE the mech design guru and probably why the Clan RAC 10 is still L3.

Ignoring the problems with CRAC/10 (M-words: MFUK origins, Munchkin Madness, etc.), it is one of the better uber-mech guns. Good range, up to 60 points of damage (UAC/20: fah, HGR: feh), manageable heat, adequate ammo, etc.
The CRAC/20 excels on vehicles, which don't care about the heat.
And, since BT provides no recoil rules for CRACs, you don't have to pay attention to the fact that a CRAC/20 could propel an 80-ton tank backwards at about 40mph.

Hot diggity! Who says vehicles don't get jump jets! Gives rocket-jump a whole new meaning!

What exactly is the Rotary Assault Cannon? I've tried searching for it, but I havent found anything about it in MaxTech or on the net.

Rotary Autocannons were originally introduced by a fanzine, Mech Force UK. They were Clan evolutions of the Ultra AC, and could fire a 1x, 2x, 4x, and 6x speeds. They are, at best, L3 weapons.
FASA introduced them formally as an L2 weapon for the Federated Suns in RAC/2 and RAC/5 sizes. They were introduced in FM:FS and are also in BMR(Revised).
